Expert services for pharmaceutical companies and hospitals

Last autumn, Oriola and Farenta joined forces, which resulted in a unique and best service selection for healthcare actors from clinical research to consumer services.

Mikko Veräjänkorva leads the expert services for pharmaceutical companies and hospitals. The services are offered under five departments: Research, Market Access, Commercial Services, Hospital Services and Regulatory Life Cycle Management.

- During autumn 2016, we joined the expert services of Farenta and Oriolan into entities which serve the needs of our pharmaceutical industry customers in the best possible way. The services are perfectly interwoven and are a natural addition to the strong wholesale offering. Thanks to our unique service selection, we help our customers succeed all the way from clinical drug trials to customer services, says Veräjänkorva.

Marcin Balcerzak leads the Research Department which offers clinical trial, effectiveness study and market research services.  Effectiveness studies are performed using a research concept which is unique, even in an international context, and which gathers real-world data directly from pharmacy customers.

The experts in our Market Access department help customers in, for example, pricing and reimbursement projects, health-economic questions, strategic consulting and hospital tenders. The recruitment of a new department head is currently ongoing.

Päivi Ylä-Kotola leads the Regulatory Life Cycle Management department, which consists of four service teams.  The department provides pharmaceutical companies services associated with regulatory affairs, pharmacovigilance and medical information, quality and translations.

Kari Lehtipuu leads the Commercial Services department, which consists of five teams. The department offers sales and marketing services, information services, production services, additional logistic services, as well as marketing services in Farenta Net and OriolaPro.

The Hospital Services and Relations department head is Riikka Näätsaari. The department handles acquisitions of non-registered medicinal products with special licence for hospital customers.
