New state-of-the-art distribution centre in Järvenpää, Finland

The investment, in total valued at EUR 110-120 million, will be financed through a long-term lease arrangement for the building, machinery and equipment, while the land is acquired and owned by Oriola.

Järvenpää, in Southern Finland,  was selected for its optimal location, accessibility, and suitability for large-scale logistics. The new facility supports our sustainability ambitions and further strengthens our position as part of Finland’s critical healthcare infrastructure

Construction begins in early 2026, with relocation set to start at the end of 2027:

• Approx.  30,000 m² of scalable logistics capacity, designed with an optimised layout and advanced automation to enhance operational efficiency  
• 30% more overall capacity, including 80% added capacity to handle cold chain products 
• Building planned to be constructed to BREEAM Excellent-level standards to be 50% more energy efficient and reduce our Scope 1 and 2 CO2 emissions in Finland.
