Oriola offers pharmacies in Finland and Sweden a wide range of services that ensure the safe, efficient, and timely supply of pharmaceuticals and health products. With over 100 years of experience in pharmaceutical distribution, we are a trusted partner to around 2,500 pharmacy customers.
Reliable pharmaceutical distribution
We deliver pharmaceuticals, vaccines and health products to pharmacies safely and responsibly, in full compliance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP). Our logistics network covers all of Finland and Sweden. In Finland, our distribution centre and central warehouse is in Espoo. In Sweden, the distribution centre is in Enköping and the central warehouse in Mölnlycke. All orders are delivered within 24 hours.
Special Licensed Medicines to ensure continued treatment
We support pharmacies in securing patient treatment when standard medicines are unavailable. Our Special Licensed Medicines (SLM) service helps pharmacies respond to medical shortages or individual treatment needs by importing unlicensed medicines for both human and veterinary use. We act quickly to secure availability through our international supplier network.
Automated dose dispensing to improve safety and sustainability
In Finland, we offer an automated dose dispensing service that supports safe and effective medical treatment. It reduces the risk of errors, supports adherence, and minimises pharmaceutical waste. This service also frees up healthcare professionals’ time to focus on patient care.
Real World Evidence studies through pharmacy collaboration
Oriola operates a unique research pharmacy network in Finland. Together with pharmacies, we conduct several Real World Evidence (RWE) studies each year across various therapeutic areas. These studies provide valuable data on medication use, treatment outcomes and patient quality of life.
