Oriola invests in e-health provider Doktor.se in Sweden

Oriola has decided to make an additional investment of 5 million euro (50 million SEK) in Doktor.se, a leading Swedish e-health provider, in their latest investment round. The investment is a part of Oriola’s strategy to increase people’s health by working comprehensively in the health and wellbeing market. Oriola has been investing in Doktor.se since 2018. The new investment will not have a significant effect on Oriola’s ownership which is currently approximately 14% of Doktor.se.

Through the cooperation with Doktor.se, Oriola strengthens its position in the fast-developing digital healthcare market in Sweden. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the digital development in the healthcare sector has taken a leap forward and it will be an important part of the healthcare in the future. The services offered together with Doktor.se, such as Drop-in clinics in Oriola’s Kronans Apotek pharmacies, complement our extensive service selection for both consumers and health and wellbeing operators.
