Oriola-KD Group is renewing the management model of business operations

Oriola-KD Corporation Stock Exchange Release 3 October 2006 at 1.00 p.m.

Oriola-KD Group is renewing the management model of business operations,
rationalising organisation structure and strengthening the steering of
businesses. As of 3rd October 2006, the Group's businesses consist of
Pharmaceutical Distribution in Finland, Sweden and the Baltic Countries,
Pharmacy and Retail Marketing, Healthcare Trade and Dental Trade. The business
segments of Oriola-KD Group 1) Pharmaceutical Trade and 2) Healthcare and
Dental Trade will be reported as before. The new management model does not have
an impact on customer and principal relations. The heads of businesses report
to Eero Hautaniemi, President and CEO of Oriola-KD Corporation. 

With the new organisation coming into effect Risto Kanerva, Managing Director,
Oriola Oy and head of Pharmaceutical Trade business segment will resign from
the company according to mutual agreement. Eero Hautaniemi will so far assume
the duties of the Managing Director of Oriola Oy. 

”We want to thank Risto Kanerva for his over 20 years work and input for
developing the company,” said Eero Hautaniemi, President and CEO of Oriola-KD
Corporation. 

Risto Kanerva will resign from the Board of Directors of Oriola Oy and Kronans
Droghandel AB (KD). Kimmo Virtanen, CFO, Oriola-KD Corporation, has been
elected as a new member of the Board of Directors of Oriola Oy and Henry
Haarla, General Counsel, Oriola-KD Corporation, will be proposed to be elected
as a new Board member for KD.
