Minna Jacobson is excited and bursting with positive energy. She started as Director, Sales and Account Management, at Oriola’s Finnish Services business in March. She is responsible for the sales and marketing, account development and management and new sales of Oriola’s services. Jacobson says she likes change, is development-oriented and feels her job at Oriola is made for her.

“When I read Oriola's announcement, I decided that the post was mine. The pharmaceuticals industry is an interesting business and new to me. I was especially fascinated by the fact that Oriola’s business is located between pharmaceutical companies and consumers, serving them both. Oriola is a large company with a solid reputation and is a popular employer. What is more, a lot is going on at Oriola right now. We are evolving into a completely new kind of company. I like change and want to be part of it,” says Jacobson.

Jacobson likes to focus on people and believes it is important to have the right people in the right places. She wants to develop the organisation based on people’s strengths and believes that when work is meaningful, it motivates and creates a positive mood, which customers will also be able to see.

”Our staff includes top professionals that are well known in the business and that can really help customers to succeed. I want to work with my team to create the right kind of partnership where customers’ needs are met and we succeed together with the customer. Working with customers is what I like most about my job, I truly enjoy it. When I meet customers, I always learn something new and hear what they want.”

The most comprehensive selection of services in the business

Oriola offers pharmaceutical companies the most comprehensive selection of services in the business. It includes research and development, Market Access, supply chain and logistics. Sales and marketing and Regulatory Life Cycle Management.

“We offer pharmaceutical companies the entire chain, from pharmaceutical research to the pharmacy and the consumer. In other words, we can provide all that a customer needs to operate on the market. In addition, we continuously develop our service selection to meet our customers’ needs,” says Jacobson.

In her opinion, making use of the full selection of services and centralisation provide many benefits to customers.

“A close partnership is an opportunity to get to know each other better and for the customer to contribute to improving operations together with us. Other benefits are the cost-efficiency and reduction in administrative resources achieved when the customer has only one partner who sees to all of its needs.”
